Improve your Songwriting

Veteran songwriter and recording artist Steve Skinner will host a FREE songwriting workshop on Wednesday, November 29 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Fraser Valley Library. The workshop will cover the elements of powerful songwriting including lyrics, melody, arrangements, dynamics, inspiration, performance and more. The workshop is open to all aspiring songwriters, from beginners to established players. Enrollment is limited to seven participants.

Skinner has produced more than 20 albums of his own and recorded many others for regional artists. He wrote a rock opera called "Umbrella Man," and his latest works include an analog synthesizer project called "Moogzuki Orchestra," and recording at the Tank Center for Sonic Arts in Rangely, Colorado. He performs solo and with his band in the Roaring Fork Valley. He also writes a weekly column in the Aspen Daily News and the Winter Park Times.
