VR is a new technology that's fun for gaming, creating music or traveling to new worlds - all without leaving your library.  Sign up for a 40 minute slot to complete a basic Virtual Reality tutorial (if needed) and try an application or two.  All equipment and instruction is provided.  13 years and older only. Only one person, friend cohort, or family group a day.

Family Movie Night Tonight!

Elementary-high school aged students are welcome. Movie Night is our family highlight of the month with a PG Movie on the last Thursday of the month at our After-School Fun time. Rotating Exploration Stations will be available for tinkering as well!

Step out of the house and into the library for our Senior Lunch & Learn program. Lunch will be provided followed by a 30 minute presentation. This program is an excellent opportunity to meet fellow Grand County Seniors and to discover something new. Please register at gcld.org under the programs tab.

Do you care for a child between the ages of 3-5 not yet in kindergarten? Join Ms. Kaylene to explore the outdoors through child-directed play, while building curiosity and supporting adult-child interactions. This program is for adults and children to learn and explore together, so caregivers/parents are required to be in attendance with their child.

We have space for 10 children plus their caregivers.  Children must be between the ages of 3-5. Please only register the child.
